    The whole team made me feel welcome beyond an exceptional standard of any hotel. I truly enjoyed my second stay in this hotel and can highly recommend it. The food, the service, the view are all spectactular

    Coffee machine or kettle, needed in room. Staff would not give coffee before 8;00 am.

    Good: Limited variety.

    Bad: Some of the kitchen staff were not very friendly. Rooms need renovation. especially windows. Lots of bugs flying in.

    Utterly delightful

    A charming hotel. We found this place in a rush as our original accommodation wasn’t up to scratch, leaving us to frantically research other options so as not to ruin our weekend away!

    This is an excellent 4 star hotel. In my experience 4 star hotels either verge on being 3 star, or miss a couple
    of touches that make it 5, and this is firmly in the latter camp.

    The staff are delightful and attentive. I don’t know the names but both receptionists and the lovely chap who served us both nights in the al la carte restaurant warrant a special mention

    Food very good, not incredible but decent enough with 2 restaurants, one al a carte and one ‘get what you’re given’

    Room was enormous, tasteful and elegant design, comfortable hard mattress (how i like it) and clean well equipped bathroom. Mini-bar somewhat understocked and seemingly no room service (see point above re 4 star) but no problem there

    Overall It has a relaxed informal ambience about it that simply works well and feels right
